CYMRAEG

Open Doors are very pleased to announce that they were the winners of the ‘New Ideas and Innovation’ award at the CIH Cymru Welsh Housing Awards 2018. Project Manager Sarah Vining and RLA Policy Officer Mathew Norman accepted the prize at the awards ceremony on Friday 23rd November, alongside Ceri Meloy (Tai Pawb) and Douglas Haig (RLA).

Sarah says: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award. The coming together of the third sector and private sector with Tai Pawb and the RLA working in partnership to deliver Open Doors was a real innovation, and this joint working approach has helped to make the project the success that it is. It is wonderful to have our hard work recognised by CIH, and we would like to thank everyone involved, especially our landlord and tenant champions. Special thanks to the Big Lottery Fund for believing in and supporting our project – we couldn’t have done this without you!”

Open Doors Project wins award

Our project is recognised at the CIH Cymru Welsh Housing Awards

Pets in the PRS – a pawsome combination?

If landlords recognised the positive benefits that pets can have on their tenants mental health, would they be more willing to accept them in their properties?

Happy Birthday Open Doors!

Open Doors is one year old! Let’s look back over the past 12 months to see what we have achieved:
